Substrat sterelsieren?

Beitrag von MR.BLAAA » Dienstag, 15. November 2022 21:06

Hallo Forum :D

Vielen dank schonmal.

Hello MRR.BLAAA,

I think you will be successful and you should act with the substrate.
You can prepare the substrate before you have an absolutely clean culture.
You can sterrealise the substrate but you do not have to do so depending on what you want to do.
I do not understand your question (clause No. 3).
Do you ask yourself if you should act with the substratum at all?
Do you ask when you should act with the substratum somehow?
Do you ask how to act with it or how to treat your substratum somehow?
You can use the mixture you planned to use but maybe it is not advisable.
Depending on your setup you do not need to sterilize the substratum.
But you should take care that molds do not occupy your substrate.
Sometimes it is fine just to cook it up somehow.
Sometimes it is more important to take care of the mycelium you want to grow and pay attention on the substrate you want to use than to sterilize it.

It is possible to use special ingredients. Maybe some fungi like caffeine but do not like coffee or coffee grounds so much.

I hope these pieces of information may meet your needs.
